Riedel Veloce Chardonnay

The new glass collection is produced by machine using cutting-edge technologies, yet it looks and feels handmade. This precision tool is designed specifically for wine lovers around the world who understand the importance of using different shapes and sizes of glassware for specific grape varieties. The advanced machine production ensures that the glass design language is precise and in harmony with the characteristics of each grape variety.

Riedel fans may notice a resemblance to the Extreme glass collection, the first machine-produced diamond-shaped glasses created by Georg J. Riedel in 2000. These glasses were designed for wines from the New World, with extreme angles that give the wine more space in the glass to enhance its aromas.

As wines continue to evolve, the Riedel family has adapted the glass shapes for Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling after conducting intensive comparative tastings. The Riedel VELOCE collection is a new development based on state-of-the-art technology, featuring taller glasses with thinner stems and finer bowls. The stems are drawn using a specially developed machine at Riedel's Weiden factory to achieve the same quality as those made by hand by a master glassmaker. The base of the glasses has a diameter of 100mm, setting a new standard for large glass shapes that can be produced by machine.

Each package includes 2 glasses that are machine made, dishwasher safe, and have dimensions of 4.45Lx4.45Wx9.72H inches.
