This new Riedel Vinum XL Champagne glass is a design from 1967 by Claus Riedel, originally created for the World Exhibition in Montreal. It was rediscovered in 2006 during a tasting panel with Moet and Chandon, where expert tasters searched for a glass to highlight the qualities of their 2000 vintage. Ultimately, the Vinum XL was chosen by Moet and Chandon to present their legendary 2000 selection above all others.

The Vinum XL collection is positioned as the next generation of Riedel wine glasses, bringing fresh excitement to the benchmark Vinum machine-blown range. This bold adaptation incorporates the same varietal-specific shapes as the popular Vinum stemware line but in larger sizes for a dramatic effect at the table or bar.
